Adventures in Traveling with Type 1 Diabetes
Receiving a diagnosis of Type 1 Diabetes can truly be devastating. Not only to the person receiving the diagnosis but often to the entire family. Many emotions have to be dealt with, a new way of life has to be created and math, oh the math!
Today's guest Michelle Caudill Weisenberg is no stranger to all of this. Michelle is a parent to her son with Type 1 Diabetes. She has felt these emotions and the life change when her son received the diagnosis, but has truly empowered her son and her family to take life by the horns and go out and live life to it's fullest.
Host Tami Neumann, will be talking to Michelle about their experience's with Type 1 Diabetes and Michelle will share how they have dealt with the disease by finding adventures through traveling. She will also share her expert advice on traveling with Type 1 Diabetes.
