After the recent release of and critical acclaim for her version of the classic song “Scarborough Fair,” the Celtic-inspired singer-songwriter and pianist Shauna Burns is set to release her latest holiday single to radio on November 20. This song, her beautiful version of the timeless “O Come, O Come, Emmanuel,” is from her holiday album A Winter Gathering. Stubby’s Christmas raved about the album at the time of its release, saying it “resembles nothing so much as a mid-December snowfall.  Throughout the album, each note from her piano hangs in mid-air for a moment, glimmering in moonlight, before falling comfortably to become a part of winter's veil.” The blog goes on to praise Burns’ “rich” and “textured” voice throughout A Winter Gathering as well as calling her version of “O Come, O Come, Emmanuel” an “exceptional rendition.” A Winter Gathering is currently available to purchase via Amazon or on Burns’ own website.
