Returning To Our Law Enforcement Roots: Darla The Adoption Coaches Story

Darla's story is a classics tale of a single professional woman determined to make a difference in the lives of two kids. She tells her story exclsusively here first on Let's Talk Justice America. Here is just an example of what we will be discussing Termination of Parental Rights Both parents did a voluntary termination of parental rights in 2007 to Elizabeth, Eva and the baby. Both parents did a voluntary termination of parental rights in 2008 to the oldest three. Birth dad Was in jail most of the foster care years on a burglary charge. The children disclosed all of the sexual abuse in 12/05 (including how birth dad made them have sex not only with him; but each other). The criminal trial was finally over in 2008. Birth dad received 50 years for incest and child abuse. There is also a no contact order with the children for 50 years. Unless therapeutically the children want to inititate contact. NOTE: The detective on this case had proposed 30 some charges. 2 were actually used. Last I talked to the detective he told me that birth dad joined a pedophile gang and put a hit out on the 4 oldest. Birth Mom The children never disclosed her having knolwedge of the abuse. The children stated it all happened when she was not home. She continues to date abusive men. She continues to live on social security. She is able to have more children. The reason I created THE ADOPTION COACH I never want anyone to feel like I did during this process There are so many angles to adoption and each focuses on their job. No one looks as it from the bigger picture and understands all of the angels. I do.
