Annual Libation ceremony being held to remember the 150 documented lynched Black women

In March 2014, the First Annual Sacred Libation Ceremony to honor the women was conducted by Iya Marilyn Kai Jewett and a group of priests of Philadelphia’s African American Yoruba/Orisha community. The ceremony has now been instituted as an annual ritual on the last Sunday in March as part of Women’s History Month. For more information, click here:  http://thewestsidegazette.com/annual-libation-ceremony-being-held-to-remember-the-150-documented-lynched-black-women/

Our Missing Girls

Last week many were alarmed and horrified of recent reports of missing young Black girls in one night in our nation’s capitol, a Black woman kidnapped and barely escaping from the trunk of her car and of another gang raped during a facebook live broadcast while none of the 40 viewers called police. Is it a conspiracy to abduct and traffic Black females?  Are they a part of a vast illegal organ harvesting conspiracy?  Is it an epidemic on the rise or is it getting more attention than usual?  https://www.nytimes.com/2017/03/31/us/washington-dc-missing-girls-children-trafficking.html?_r=0
