Tina D Jones - Social Media Consultant

Tina Jones began her professional career as a United States Army medical specialist and went on to establish an impressive 20-year history in serving the medical community. She has a powerful story of her journey from medical professional to CEO of T.J. Enterprises & Technology, Associate Director of Social Media for Startup-Southwest Dallas region.Ms. Jones is currently the CEO and owner of T.J. Enterprises & Technology, based in Central Texas, and providing short and long term technical assistance, seminars, workshops, policy and program reviews, and other specially designed services, with a focus on supporting and developing technological literacy among entrepreneurs and  using public forums to provide awareness that lead to community transformation and the achievement of empowerment.Ms. Jones was appointed Associate Director of Social Media for Startup-Southwest Dallas region in September 2014. StartupSDR, an entity derived from the Whitehouse Initiate of 2011 to create jobs by using entrepreneur’s intent on growing their businesses.   Out of recognition of Ms. Jones’ strong and effective leadership and a desire to expand the literacy of our community, was given an opportunity of teach social media for Business 101 classes.“At the heart of all our programs and services, we’re about the community,” Jones said of StartupSDR. “And we want to make sure that every person that wants to have a business or is thinking about going into business has access to the tools to succeed.”
