Rev. Harris Will Revisits Privatizing City Fresno Trash

City of Fresno Solid Waste workers alone with other Fresno community organizations, civil rights  organizations are upset on how the Mayor of Fresno is going to privatize and dump there jobs AWAY!!!

This move by the Mayor will cause many familys to suffer right in the middle of winter time and the holidays seasons. This is nothing new by our christian Mayor Ashley Swearengin who has a history on hurting familys.

Maybe the reason why there is no money to pay the city solid wastes workers is because of all the class action lawsuit by the Fresno Homeless. Maybe there is no money to pay the solid waste workers

Three Fresno City Council members are taking their trash fight to the people.

Council Members Oliver Baines, Blong Xiong and Sal Quintero are planning a series of community meetings to spread the word about what they say is a disaster in the making: The outsourcing of residential trash service to private haulers.

The first meeting is Tuesday at Hinton Community Center in Baines' southwest Fresno district. Meetings will follow over the next two weeks in Xiong's west-central district and Quintero's southeast district.

As it did last year with commercial trash service, the administration of Mayor Ashley Swearengin wants to outsource the residential trash job to help balance the city budget.
