The NNIA network presents Recovery Radio Fresno with Louis Angel and special guest's Rafael Bastien-Herrera and Pete Untalon. These two men are great Pastor's here in Fresno California. They have known each other for many years and tonight we will be talking about a new school that
Pastor Rafael will be teaching. Pastor Rafael said "It is a school of ministry that offers a 12-month ministry program for those who feel called into the ministry. There is a phase 1 that goes into systematic theology and a phase 2 that goes into more advanced courses such as Bibliology & Hermeneutics, which is the study of biblical interpretation and Homiletics, which is the preparation and delivery of a sermon or teaching, and of course other things involved. My school is called The Word Walk School of Ministry, and it will be starting the latter part of January 2015." In addition Pastor Pete Untalon will be talking about his ministry and how the teachings of the Bible are the most important element in a person’s life.

On this special edition of Recovery Radio Fresno, Zoyer Zyndel will be discussing some of the problems that Fresno's LGBTQ faces. Here is a little about Zoyer.
Zoyer Zachary Zyndel received his Bachelor's in English from Fresno State in 2012. He is currently in the Master's in Social Work program at Fresno State and is interning at Westcare. He has been an organizer with the LGBTQ+ community for 10 years. He is the current chair of Trans-E-Motion, an organization that works to improve the lives of transgender people through advocacy, education, and support in Fresno and surrounding communities. Zoyer has been involved in bringing awareness to LGBTQ+ issues at both the Fresno City College and Fresno State campus communities. He has served on the board of PFLAG Fresno, a support group for parents, families, and friends of the LGBTQ+ community. Zoyer has played an active role in public relations and as a political liaison for the Fresno Rainbow Pride committee, a group responsible for hosting the annual Fresno Pride Parade and Festival in Fresno's Tower District. Zoyer has a strong beliefs toward social justice, and enjoys educating others about transgender issues and experiences while working towards building a safer and an inclusive community.

I have been thru, sexual abuse after my mother's death to mental and physical abuse, that all led later to drug abuse just to function ...
There nothing nice about that, and the HARDEST thing for me was learning that I was still beautiful and still had a future.

Abuse happens in many forms, and it's a form of bondage. It's thing that people don't talk about, but it happens more then you think. Albert said "At the age of seven, my parents divorced and I was abandon by my father. My father was bound in his addiction caught a case and ended up in prison. I was left with my mother, she loved me very much and provided everything I needed. My mother physically abused me and gradually it was just a normal routine. My heart was calloused and all I wanted was to be loved by my Father."
