New Jersey’s Bad Boy of Comedy – aka Mike Marino – is headed back to the Jersey Shore this summer, and where Mike goes, laughter follows and takes no prisoners. He’s got some great gigs lined up for his legions of fans, including hosting the 2nd Annual Asbury Park Comedy Festival in August at the Paramount Theatre in Asbury Park. Here is a quick video of Mike talking about the Comedy Festival: http://youtu.be/XylEyjEQuZo. Mike joined me on Jersey Coastal Live last summer, so we definitely have some catching up to do. Originally from Jersey City, Mike has appeared in over 200 TV commercials and has acted in various shows including As the World Turns, One Life to Live, Becker, Nikki, Frasier and Party of Five. After achieving success in film, theatre, commercials and soaps, Mike began touring the country performing at countless comedy clubs and sold out theatres. His stand-up material ranges from cutting edge observations of everyday life to his Italian family roots. In 2008, he was inducted into the NJ Comedy Hall of Fame. This August, you’ll also have the opportunity to see Mike perform at Uncle Vinnie’s Comedy Club in Point Pleasant. Check out this video to see one of my favorite bits from Mike: The Italian President: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xu16e_hmowo. After the interview, please check out After Hours at Jersey Coastal Live for additional information.
