ReVision Theatre has a unique location – the carousel house on the boardwalk in Asbury Park. This unusual location creates it own unique set of challenges, nevertheless, the shows are always beautifully and professionally executed.

Thomas Morrissey is one of the Producing Artistic Directors of the theatre. ReVision Theatre is a professional regional theatre company dedicated to producing invigorating theatre with a fresh new perspective reaching the diverse community of Asbury Park, Monmouth County and beyond. ReVision Theatre produces reinventions of previously produced classics, overlooked or forgotten work in a new way, and new work with a fresh voice. The company serves as a nurturing home for local artists and writers. ReVision Theatre produces readings, workshops, cabarets, concerts, and fully staged productions. The Current show is Spring Awakening to be followed by The Break Up Notebook, Little Shop of Horrors, and to end the season, Holiday Musical.

We’ll learn about the history of ReVision Theatre and the people who make it happen. Tom Morrissey has a long history in the theatre. He began performing at age five, and as an actor and a dancer appeared in over 100 plays and musicals. He’s worked in all areas of professional theatre including regional, summer, dinner theatres, off and on Broadway. Tom taught acting, musical theatre classes and workshops at The American Musical and Dramatic Academy (AMDA), New York University, The Creative Acting Company and through private coaching and workshops in NYC. Tom is a member of the Society of Stage Directors and Choreographers and Actors’ Equity Association.
