In Part 2 of our series on Emotional Eating, we’ll continue our conversation on this hot topic. We previously defined emotional eating as the practice of consuming large quantities of food -- usually "comfort" or junk foods -- in response to feelings instead of physical hunger and discussed many of the triggers and other symptoms surrounding this unhealthy problem. You need to conquer your emotional eating habits in order to overcome your barriers to lifelong fitness and good overall health. Our resident Life Coach, Jenn Nocera of Formula For Excellence, is here to educate us on the most common barriers to fitness faced by emotional eaters and share some ways we can work to overcome them. These barriers may be real or imagined, but the ultimate goal is to develop a new mindset to refute all of these barriers and make fitness a lifestyle.
