Do you have issues with food? Do you think you may be an "emotional eater?" What's an emotional eater?
Emotional eating is when a person uses food as an attempt to control, monitor, and cope with negative feelings or thoughts. Because emotional eating typically results in overeating, it can often lead to poor self-esteem, unwanted weight gain, and obesity.
If you are binge eating or sometimes not eating at all, learn how to recognize the triggers of emotional eating and understand the habits and causes.

Dr. Love teaches the secrets of weight loss by preventing the emotional ups and downs of the Holidays.
Abandonment, Rejection and betrayal are the holdovers of childhood programming. Stuffing to avoid feelings is a bad habit that can be broken this holiday season. Listen in live and join our audience as we take questions about avoiding emotional eating over the holidays. Because of the seasonal change to colder weather we have a tendency to eat heavier foods. But here in Florida where it is not so cold we have a tendency to eat comfort foods that start with the Thanksgiving Turkey, stuffing and all the trimmings. Then we graduate to Holiday Hams with lots of bread and jams.
Dr. Love has been teaching Juice Feasting and detoxification since 1983. He also teaches vegetarian cooking classes and raw food preparation. Join our studio audience live or listen live

Everyone wants happy and fulfilling relationships. One of the things that prevent us from having them is emotinal immaturity. Emotionally immature people can be extremely challenging to deal with, because their ability to interpret and react to the variety of life's challenges is often impaired. If you are in a relationship with someone that is emotionally immature you probably face great challenges in dealing with their moods and behaviors. They tend to try to control their world and those around them. We'll talk about the signs of emotional immaturity. What it's rooted in? And perhaps we can help each other change and grow.

It's summer time! We are outside in the sun and getting our vitamin D, or so we think. Often we slather on gobs of chemically laden sunblock to protect ourselves from getting burned. Our bodies do not absorb Vitamin D if the suns rays do not reach our skin. We are so paranoid about skin cancer or just burning from all the media hype we hear on TV. It certainly is a threat but can we have our sun and vitamin D without the burn or threat of skin cancer? Studies are showing that eating healthy, eating clean and green can reduce the chance of sunburn by keeping the skin hydrated and somewhat resistant to sunburn.
