Keith Wimsett has owned an Asheville Personal Fitness gym since 2006.
After spending 12 years as a graphic designer and art director Keith discovered kickboxing. The competitive nature and challenging
workouts of the sport appealed to him immediately
In 1998 Keith became a certified kickboxing instructor and began teaching weekly classes at a local gym.
Witnessing the physical and mental changes happening to his students he decided he wanted to do more.
Keith became ACE certified in 2002, quit his job as an art director and dedicated his life to
fitness. Since then, Keith has used his creativity to develop unique and
individualized programs for his clients using a variety of training
He believes that exercise should be challenging and varied.
“Stagnation is a killer to any workout program,” Keith states, “you have
to constantly change and challenge yourself to get results.”
