"Gunny" Jones wanted to be a US Marine at a young age, and though he had a hard time understanding why he felt that way, many years later he realized the true plan for his life. Most of his years on active duty were spent in varied and dangerous areas of the world, being deployed to the Middle East, Asia, and Europe to operations similar to those of the Iraq and Afghanistan Wars. Gregg says "It's very clear now that through the years of service to my Country, that God was preparing me for an even greater time of service that changed my life forever!"

Gunny Jones is now a warrior for God in sharing the hope in Jesus Christ to American Veterans that have been quieted by fear, death, and depression. Bringing them a light and hope for They issues ranging from PTSD, Combat Fatigue, Substance, and Domestic Abuse and most importantly, dispair.
