    Ms. Clinton

    in Politics

After the election, more mistakes. At a Nov. 21 black-tie gala in New York, Mrs. Clinton endorsed Mr. Obama’s executive order on immigration by suggesting the events’ servers and food preparers were in the country illegally, as were most construction workers. The next presidential election is in 23 months. But no amount of time is likely to be enough for Mrs. Clinton to make herself a much better candidate. She is who she is and cannot change. In 2008 she could not articulate a compelling purpose for her run and stressed only her inevitability and entitlement. So far, it looks like Hillary 2.0 will have at least as many problems as Hillary 1.0.Uncle Karl Rove

What if: Clinton does not run; IRS admits mistakes; Ethics were in politics, etc

    in Politics Conservative

Tuseday morning's special 90 minute program (I have a court case I must attend at 10AM) we are going to play the what if game by asking some what if's.

    1. What if Clinton does not run for President of the United States?

    2. What if the IRS admitted to mistakes?

    3. What if ethics were actually practiced in politics?

I know these are silly questions; however; what if these things actually turned into truth

Bring your "What if" to the show and let's explore your far out question.

Freedom, Hillary Clinton in 2016, and American Exceptionalism (9.3.14)

    in Politics Conservative

Shane Krauser, the host of Liberty Storm, believes that only a vigilant, courageous, and informed people have the ability to defend freedom. As Thomas Jefferson said, "Ignorance and freedom cannot coexist." Listen in as Shane discusses the following:

    1. What is the message of freedom and how do we win back America?

    2. How should we go about asking candidates questions and to what degree should we focus on protecting them?

    3. Glenn Beck says Hillary Clinton will win in 2016. Why? How? Is he right? The GOP better wake up, as we need to start communicating narrative much more effectively.

    4. What is going on in our schools? What are they being taught and what is missing? Where does American exceptionalism fit within all of this?

C.D. -Ferguson - Clinton and the Call for Talking Heads

    in Current Events

    The Ferguson issue continues.

Earlier this week Agitator-Renown, Al Sharpton, called on Hillary Clinton, Jeb Bush and other potential 2016 presidential candidates, to weigh in on the situation in Ferguson, Missouri. .

After initially maintaining silence, Hillary Clinton made following statement.

Said Hillary, Watching the recent funeral for Michael Brown, as a mother, as a human being, my heart just broke for his family. Because losing a child is every parent’s greatest fear and an unimaginable loss,” she said at the beginning of her paid remarks to the Nexenta OpenSDx Summit. “But I also grieve for that community and for many like it across our country.

But perhaps, her more pointed and reflecting comments, took white people to task, on how black people in many instances, feel, in the perception that the police tend to target us in either an excessive or harsher manner, than they do, whites, asking her [mainly white?] audience to think about how they would feel if white drivers were stopped as often black drivers, or given as long prison sentences as African-Americans.

While on the surface, such words seem to connect with and sympathize with the plight of black people, we should recognize that mere words alone, have not and will not address the realities of black life, to the extent that many of us find ourselves on “the other side” of the law and society.

Anyway, why is it so important that personalities make public, perhaps uninformed statements, just to prove a point?

So, yes, I imply that Hillary Clinton was forced, pressured to patronize.

Also, Barack Obama plans in the near future to address the “broken” illegal immigration system; strange choice of words for a man who helped turned a fracture into a fissure.

The Mother Ship Has Landed. George Clinton Live

    in Music

Musician George Clinton was born in Kannapolis, North Carolina on July 22, 1941. His music career began in a barbershop where he created a doo-wop group called The Parliaments. Clinton regularly reorganized musicians in The Parliaments, later known as Funkadelic and then P.Funk All-Stars, to create new sounds. He had a number one hit on his 1983 solo album, Computer Games.

    Early Career

Musician. Born July 22, 1941, in Kannapolis, North Carolina. Raised in Plainfield, New Jersey, Clinton began his music career in the 1950's, while working at a barbershop in Newark, New Jersey. He founded a doo-wop singing quintet he called The Parliaments out of the shop's backroom. When Clinton headed to Detroit in the early 1960s to work as a staff songwriter for Motown, the group stayed in New Jersey but continued to work together long distance.

Landing a deal with Revilot Records, The Parliaments turned out their first hit with in 1967 with the single "(I Just Wanna) Testify," which landed at No. 3 on the Billboard R&B charts. The only member of The Parliaments to actually appear on the recording, however, was Clinton; no one else was able to travel to Detroit for the session, so studio musicians filled in.

    Parliament and Funkadelic

When Revilot went bankrupt later that year, the group's name became tied up in litigation. In 1968, they renamed themselves Funkadelic, after Clinton's back-up band. In 1972, when Clinton was finally able to get back the Parliament name, the group began using both the Parliament and Funkadelic monikers, but under different record labels. Often referring to himself as "the Referee", Clinton mixed and matched the musicians and singers in his groups, which helped maintain a fresh, innovative sound.
