The Rock & Roll Shrink Ep. 8 - The Psychology of Horror in Media
NB: Please note that a large bulk of the content in tonight's show contains graphic content and disturbing images on the chatroom page.

Dr. Mathis (The Rock & Roll Shrink) and Host Casey Shapiro discuss the psychology of horror in media, be it books, radio, comics and graphic novels, TV, film, video games, or other media.

Since Halloween was just recently, we would like to take a look at the horror genre, and the psychological reasons for the audience's reactions to various content and themes.

We look at why people do or do not enjoy the genre, and what constitutes too much and why.

We may have a couple of guest callers whose backgrounds are relevant to tonight's topic. Please join us, and bring your questions and comments!
