Sadly, we have heard over the years of increasing numbers of wildlife species which are endangered.  Indeed, some have unfortunately become extinct.  What is causing the decreases in wildlife?  Are we making any progress in preserving them?  And what could you do?   Diane Brandon is joined this week by Dr. Marc Bekoff,  Professor Emeritus of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology at University of Colorado, Boulder and author of numerous books, including The Emotional Lives of Animals, Animals at Play, and Wild Justice – The Moral Lives of Animals.  Dr. Bekoff is an Ethologist and has had a keen interest in animals and their behavior for many years.  He’s a leading advocate of preserving wildlife species and will give us a status report on how we’re doing in protecting wildlife and their numbers.
