INTERVIEW: Fly, lead singer, UNDERGROUND

Check out the Underground sound when the band’s lead singer, Fly, rocks Mr. Media’s world!

You can say that Fly is the sole songwriter for Underground. He has been writing music for some time now, and before putting the Underground project together, had success under the Warner/Chappell and EMI Music publishing umbrellas as a singer/songwriter. His recent past success includes a music video on MTV (Europe), and a collaborative project with producer and 2x Grammy Nominee, Carmen Rizzo (Seal, Alanis Morissette, Paul Oakenfold, Coldplay).

"I'm now at the point in my career where I'm trying on some new musical clothing and reinventing myself,” Fly says. “In looking in the mirror, I realized that it was time to be completely honest with my ambitions to be a mainstream artist and prove to myself that I can achieve even greater success than what I've achieved so far. I look forward to a very busy 2010 with Underground."

Underground includes a handful of guest artists and musicians, including a collaboration with producer and 4x Grammy Winner, Bonzai Caruso (Lenny Kravitz, Madonna, Gwen Stefani, David Bowie), to help produce and co-write selected tracks from the upcoming CD entitled "Chasing The Future."
