Born, in a one roomed mud hut in Western Nepal, to a peasant farming family. At the age of 5, she and her sister were placed in an orphanage in Kathmandu: A world away from the only home that knew. Vicky and her sister were separated as her older sister was adopted and moved to the UK. She was left alone for nearly 3 years, then I finally joined her sister in the UK . She was adopted by the same mother as her sister In 2001 we were made legal sisters again. Vicky first started singing and writing songs with her sister at the age of 10. She went on to study music and earned first degree in Popular Music Performance at Vocaltech (Thames Valley University in London) and gigged in iconic places in London such as The Bedford, The Hope and Anchor etc.
