Kyle Freeman got started in business marketing in 1996 in San Diego,
California. He was the first field coordinator promoted in the region, in
record time. He left the company after several years and became the
head trainer of a similar company in the telecom marketing industry.
Spending many years with two different companies, he decided to set
out on his own. In 2003 he created Juice Marketing, Inc., he served as
President and CEO for the next five years. In that period of time under
his leadership the company JMI became JMI Telecom Corp a publically
traded company and one of the only minority owned public utilities in
NC and Kentucky. He is well known and respected in the network
Kyle served in the United States Navy as a Chief Petty Officer. After 24
years of service with the Navy and Naval Reserves he retired with
honors in 2008.
Now Kyle is ready for his next assignment as an author and speaker
his goal is to help small to medium size businesses as well as veteran
owned businesses find funding sources for their companies and
projects. Most new businesses fail within the first five years due to a
lack of funding. His knowledge of venture capital and source funding is
what helped him and his partners become a public traded company.
His goal to help 10,000 companies become publicly traded is lofty but
he is more than ready for the challenge. As in the Navy Chiefs lead
from the front.
Set to release in theaters nationwide on October 3, LEFT BEHIND stars Nicolas Cage, Chad Michael Murray, Cassi Thomson, Nicky Whelan, Lea Thompson, and Jordin Sparks. The film is based on the New York Times bestselling book series of the same name, co-authored by Jerry B. Jenkins and Tim LaHaye.
LEFT BEHIND is an apocalyptic Action-Thriller that deals with strained family relationships in a world that seems to be spinning out of control. It openly depicts the importance of family commitment, accountability, and compassion. It is these themes illuminated throughout the film that serve as a way for families to begin conversations about the way our values affect our choices and potential consequences they may lead to.
The movie is written and produced by Paul Lalonde & John Patus, and directed by veteran filmmaker, Vic Armstrong (THOR, AMAZING SPIDER-MAN, WAR OF THE WORLDS), widely renowned for directing action sequences. Behind the scenes, LEFT BEHIND features an award-winning team including Oscar and BAFTA nominated Director of Photography, Jack N. Green (UNFORGIVEN), Oscar, BAFTA and EMMY nominated Production Designer, Stephen Altman (GOSFORD PARK, CHRONICLE), Editor Michael J. Duthie and Costume Designer Abby O’Sullivan. The music was composed by Jack Lenz (THE PASSION OF THE CHRIST).

Tonight join The Gist of Freedom with host Roy Paul as we talk with the executive producer, of the play Black Wall Street, Walter E. Puryear! Running at The Andrew Freedman Home, 1125 GrandCouse Bronx, NY starting Thursday September 18th thru Sunday October 5,204.
BLACK WALL STREET by Celeste Bedford Walker
In 1921, in a small community in Tulsa Oklahoma, there was a Black paradise called Greenwood. This community consisted of Blacks, Indians, and Jews, who respected and did business with each other. In time the town was soon known as Black Wall Street. In a mere 36 block section of town, these African-Americans owned and operated up to 600 thriving businesses. One of the most popular of these businesses was Old Lady Boleys’,(fictional) an eating establishment which is where our play begins. One Sunday evening, the town’s more influential citizens gathered to have their pictures taken for the local newspaper; in honor of the community’s 20th anniversary. Before the play ends, the entire community of Greenwood is completely burned to the ground. In a 12 hour period, a major Black economic movement is halted.
Walter E. Puryear is the Mid-Bronx Council’s project manager for the Andrew Freedman Home. When the home opened in the Bronx in 1924, it looked like a limestone luxury liner sailing up the Grand Concourse, a grandiosity that advertised its odd function: a privately endowed retirement home for the formerly well-to-do, those who might have lost their money but not their manners or manorial tastes.
Tomette Herring founder of the Face Book Group entitled “Transform 2 Transcend, Transforming People to Transform the World”. This is one of a few trademarks that Tomette has developed to capture and communicate a belief and methodology for becoming the best of who we are in order to transcend the “average” thereby leaving a dynamic legacy that our children’s children can be proud of.
After all, what are we here to deliver anyway?
In my discussions, I realized that many of us have critical information that would prove very beneficial to those struggling to transform. We can help each other. So, why not share that. It might help someone stay in their home, obtain a job, get critical counseling for a loved one before devastation arrests them in a state of depression.
So, here’s the question. How do you SURVIVE until you THRIVE? I don’t have all the answers, but if you ask the community, you might be surprised.
