Whistleblower's is brought to you in coordination with Marcel Reid and the Whistlblower's Summit in Washington DC

Our guest tonight are Lawrence Lucas and Tom Burrell

Tom Burrell, President, Black Farmers & Agriculturists Association (BFAA), will join us to give us an update.

After battling USDA since the Pigford II settlement decision, the USDA tried a last ditch effort to throw out the claims of an estimated 15,000 black farmers and their heirs. The US Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia denied the motion by USDA for a summary ruling that would have let the USDA off the hook for the damages they caused by refusing to process the claims.

He will talk about the present state of the BFAA case against the US Department of Agriculture (USDA), how he plans to engage the Trump White House to resolve these long on going matters of civil rights at the US Department of Agriculture, known to many as "The Last Plantation". In addition, he will tell us how this case will impact the survival of Black farmers & rural America. Also, what is his position on abolishing the USDA Office of Civil Rights & more.

He will be joined by Michael Stovall, Black farmer advocate from Alabama & my co-host Lawrence Lucas, President Emeritus, USDA Coalition of Minority Employees.
