Clothing Styles vs. Personality: Is it You?

A lot of clothing styles are transcending the media today and a lot of people see that their personalities are based on what they wear. Does your shoes, shirt, pants, jewelry define who you really are to the world? Would you call these people advertisement thirsty or would you just say thy are big spenders? A broader question would be is are these people dressing truly to impress the world, attract a possible mate or for themselves?
