About Dr. Susan Edelman
Dr. Susan Edelman says it's time for a new sexual revolution because the old one didn’t turn out the way we’d hoped, especially for women. The sexual revolution promised more choices but women today are as confused as ever. We forgot the meaning of liberation: the freedom to choose for yourself. We need a new sexual revolution that encourages each woman to decide what’s best for her, regardless of the cultural messages, and even if that decision is staying single.
Edelman's new book, Be Your Own Brand of Sexy: A New Sexual Revolution for Women, debuted at #1 on Amazon in the dating category and since has been doing radio interviews across the country. Dr. Edelman is an Adjunct Clinical Associate Professor at Stanford’s Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences and a board-certified psychiatrist focusing on women's issues, dating and relationships. Susan wants to help women (and men) navigate the tricky dating landscape and teach them how to make choices that feel right to them—instead of what they’re programmed to believe is “normal” by today’s culture.

Karma is the accumulation of our thoughts, intentions, and actions, both good and bad. Our karma is the reason we must learn certain lessons, overcome certain challenges, and meet certain people. It gets attached to our consciousness until it is dealt with.
Our karma is impacted by every encounter we have. The karma we share with one person impacts our dynamic with another. It accounts for the relationships we cultivate overall; if our karma is clogged, we attract the same types of complicated people. We become trapped in a cycle of bringing in partners with the same tendencies, and our relationships will fail time and time again.
Today's special guest, world renowned intuitive psychologist Dr. Carmen Harra, author of the international bestseller, Everyday Karma,The Karma Queen's Guide to Relationships, and 5 more books, is here to unveil the secret that many of us seek throughout our life: that karma is both the problem and the solution. She wants us to know that we can clear old karmic blockages from our predestined path and master our karma, becoming queens and kings.
Dr. Harra co-wrote The Karma Queen's Guide to Relationships with her daughter Alexandra who is a certified life coach and a regular contributor to the Huffington Post.
Carmen Harr, PhD. has been featured in numerous publications and appeared on countless television programs. She is a co-chair in the Vital Voices Global Partnership led by Hillary Clinton, as well as other high profile foundations.
Today Dr. Harra is here to talk about her book, The Karma Queen's Guide to Relationships, from both a spiritual and practical standpoint, and give us advice on creating permanently fulfilling relationships.
