Robin Strachan is a writer whose poetry, fiction, and nonfiction have been published in local, regional, and national publications for over thirty years. She grew up dreaming of life as an author. She began her writing career as a reporter doing features. Her popular personality feature stories for the newspaper, coupled with her love of Maeve Binchy novels, eventually led to her decision to write novels. She is the author of MANIFESTING DREAMS and DESIGNING HEARTS. A third novel is in the works. She is also a published poet and a professional artist.
From top Corporate business woman, to internationally acclaimed author, Anita Telle talks to us about how her child being bullied, changed her and her son’s life as well as the lives of many people from around the world. She has a mission: To teach acceptance and love to children ages 4 – 9 so they will grow up to be amazing, supportive and loving teenagers, immune to peer pressure and bullying. She also has a story to tell. And it’s an important story; one that touches everyone, everywhere, from every culture. But it is especially important for children: Being different IS normal. We are all different, in different ways.
As a very involved mom, Anita realized just how much she loves children and created the first ever “feel good” Gnomy’s Boo-Boo Bears for children with a unique story for each Boo-Boo-Bear. Anita is furthering her love for children and is now focusing on anti-bullying because her son Branden was born with a cleft pallet/lip and was bullied for being different. As a mom, she asked herself what she could do to make a change in her son’s life. Anita decided to start writing children’s books with a “message of acceptance”.

Welcome, welcome, welcome everyone to The ChickS.H.Y.T. & Real Talk Radio Show, where these chicks'll Surely Have You Talkin...
Have you ever met someone that was just gorgeous to look at, but once they open their mouths nothing but nastiness spews out? What about the reverse, where the person isn't the best to look at but their personality is just the best?
If you are anything like me, the person with the nasty attitude started to look unattractive to me, while the person with the wonderful personality seemed to turn into a hunk right before my eyes. The reason is simple...their outsides started to mirror what was on the inside. That inner ugly has overshadowed that outward beauty!
So if you find yourself miserable and can't quite figure out why...could be that what's on the inside needs to change. Let The Divas help you out with just how to do that.

When is the last time you really spoke with a complete stranger? Really. Not at a networking function or to ask for directions, but an out-of-the-blue stranger who you allowed to touch your life and share their stories with you. Join Tara and Jeff in conversation with Colin Easton, the founder of The Stranger Project and the man, who for an entire year, approached a stranger every single day, wrote a story about them before posting it for the world to see, and in doing so, fortified his own mental health.
In a world where it feels as if many of our relationships are electronic ones, Colin created community, shared the relatable and inspirational stories of his fellow silly, messy humans, and created a movement. Now the subject of a documentary by Kate Green Productions. The Stranger Project is growing and so is the possibility of connecting with people who are friends we just haven’t met yet.
