Tamara Washington was born in Lafayette, LA and was raised in a small town called Cade, LA. As a small child, Tamara always had love for people and a willingness to help others in any way that she could. Early on, Tamara knew that she wanted to work with people. So, she began working in ministry and other outreach groups in her community. In 2008, Tamara graduated from Delta College of Arts & Technology, as she pursued a career in the medical field in hope of one day earning a bachelor’s degree in Health Information Management. However, sometime later; Tamara faced some challenges in her life and things did not go the way that she had planned. After, her first child was still born at 35 weeks of her pregnancy. This tragedy was agonizing & Tamara knew that she had to reach out to other young ladies that may have endured similar pain. After overcoming the pain caused by the loss of her son; sometime later, Tamara found herself in the place of being the single mother of two beautiful girls and  experiencing many of the same challenges that she observed many ladies going through over the years. Then, it became more evident and that she had to reach out to help others. So, Tamara chose to start offering words of encouragement, motivation, and support to those that may not be able to see that there is light in the midst of every situation.

Tamara’s heart desire is to continue to service her community with the gifts that God has blessed her with and to help as many people as possible to change what they may perceive as a negative circumstance into positive energy that can be used to transform their own lives one step at a time.
