Texas: Lone Star Crazy

Texas envokes images of vast expense, oil rigs, bringing to mind "The Last Picture Show", J.R. Ewing and the Alamo, yet the political culture, always verging on batshit crazy, is driving off of the cliff at full speed.  Ted Cruz, poster boy of the Tea Party, along with Steve Stockman, Larry Kilgore, Randy Neugebauer, Rick Perry and Louie Gohmert- all Texan good 'ole' boys have pushed Texan politics from the land of the absurd to crazy city.
