You won't believe what Dinesh D'Souza had to say to Brooklyn GOP Radio in an EXCLUSIVE interview that we'll air Wednesday at 9PM!
Dinesh D’Souza has had a 25-year career as a writer, scholar, and public intellectual. A former policy analyst in the Reagan White House, D’Souza also served as John M. Olin Fellow at the American Enterprise Institute, and the Robert and Karen Rishwain Fellow at the Hoover Institution at Stanford University. He served as the president of The King’s College in New York City from 2010 to 2012.
Called one of the “top young public-policy makers in the country” by Investor’s Business Daily, D’Souza quickly became known as a major influencer on public policy through his writings.
Most recently, D'Souza, the creator of 2016: Obama's America, has taken us on a journey of discovery that bringsyou face-to-face with the heroes who built America, in the times in which they lived, bled, and sacrificed in order to build a great nation: Christopher Columbus, George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, Frederick Douglass, and others. You'll be there as Columbus sets foot on American soil, as bullets whiz by in the acclaimed book-turned-film, America.
What he told us about his thoughts of Republican politics today will definitely get your attention! Tune in!
I agree with Sara Palin that the GOP should be thanking the Democrats for their backward ass policies not the GOP for any great ideas. The GOP really didn't win but the Democrats lost. There is an important lesson for them to learn. Let's stay to topics that really matter...the economy, taxes, immigration reform, Obamacare repeal; not gay marriage, abortion, or anything of the other social issues that keeps us on the losing side. For a party that wants limited government, we sure want the government in peoples bedrooms. We will have Joe and Randy at the 3 o'clock hour battling it out over whooping bad kids and I will be finishing up the mimimum wage argument from the previous show that we ended up cutting short due to technical issues
Congress should have more partisanship about ideas and less about the legislative process - but of course, Harry (G)Reid won't; Not that anyone’s paying attention, or believes Jim Geraghty's misplaced optimism, but the thinks GOP House candidates are set for a great cycle; Taking the Senate would give the GOP control of the legislative process, and that would mean very little, given that their first order of business would be to restore full minority party rights; And if even it did, remember who has the veto pen in addition to his pile of Imperial Executive decrees.
This is the end.

(GOP) — They Could Change, But They Won’t
Thu Aug 7th, 2014 at 12:32:26 PM EST
Rand Paul lays down some truth:
“The party can’t become the opposite of what it is. If you tell people from Alabama, Mississippi or Georgia, ‘You know what, guys, we’ve been wrong, and we’re gonna be the pro-gay-marriage party,’ they’re either gonna stay home or — I mean, many of these people joined the Republican Party because of these social issues. So I don’t think we can completely flip.”
It’s really a choice. Does the GOP want to compete in states outside of the Deep South and make themselves into a viable national party that can win a presidential election?
The answer is ‘no.’
And, for now, this is a very good thing.
Today we ask the question, what happened ti the Republican Party's Growth and Opportunity Project? When is was anounce we had a guarded optimisim about it, but the reality of the leader in the Republican party showed their true colors and we have not heard or seen any benefit or effect from the GOP especially in the urban community. Will Republicans ever get it right? Will there ever listen to Urban conservatives and heed our instructions?
The answer, today on the Willie Lawson Show.
THE GOP - IT'S ALL ABOUT MASSIVE DARK MONEY CO-OPTING THE MEDIA
Brooklyn GOP Radio welcomed a friend of the show who will be discussing the latest on the crises in the Middle East - Van Hipp, Former Deputy Asst. Secretary of the Army under President George H.W. Bush.
In 1990, Van Hipp was sworn in as Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Army (Reserve Forces and Mobilization). In this capacity, he served as the Army Secretariat’s “point man” for the successful mobilization, and then demobilization, of the Army’s reserve forces for Operation Desert Shield/Storm. Van is currently the Chairman of American Defense International, Inc. (ADI), a Washington, DC based consulting firm specializing in government affairs, business development and public relations who is an expert commentator on the War on Terror and has been a guest on virtually every major cable news network’s major news programming.
Plus, join Gene Berardelli and Russell Gallo on a tour of the week that was in political news, including the latest out of Ferguson, MO, the Quinnipiac poll that shows how polarizing Rev. Al Sharpton really is and the flap between Bill de Blasio and a law enforcement union over DNC 2016. Plus, a BIG announcement about the future of Brooklyn GOP Radio that is NOT to be missed?
Click-bait, much? You bet! But tune in anyways!
The Republican Party scored big in the midterms. It outperformed virtually all expectations and now enjoys its largest U.S. House majority since Herbert Hoover was in office.
This isn't to mention how the GOP racked up victories at the state level. From reclaiming the New York Senate to clenching victory in the Maryland gubernatorial race, nary a stone went unturned. When all was said and done, Democrats retained full control of just eleven legislatures.
While we should question what this means for the future of our country, it is also wise to wonder about how the GOP will handle such newfound power. With all but the presidency in its grip at the federal level, Republicans have the exceedingly rare opportunity to redefine themselves for millions upon millions.
Which path will the GOP wind up following? Two men with ample experience in American politics share their perspectives.
The Man. Is Back. Russell Gallo returns to Brooklyn GOP Radio!
Plus, scheduled to come on the show is Bob Antonacci, the attorney / CPA that is the Republican candidate for State Comptroller and the current Comptroller of Onondaga County here in New York. He'll be talking about his upcoming fundraiser at MCU Park, what exactly a Comptroller does and why you should care - a lot.
All that, plus we wanna know WHO YA GOT for this week's Buffoon of the Week!
