Willing to Sacrifice unto the LORD

Nowadays, not many people are willing to give or give up much. We throw around the fact that there's a recession and how times are hard. There is a lot of selfishness that goes around and that isnt what being a christian is about. We must deny ourselves. One of the reasons we are supposed to deny ourselves is to receive something that we ourselves cannot get and that is spiritual self-control. In order to make it in our walk, we must be willing to give upcin order to gain. GOD also blesses us in the midst of our sacrificing so that shows that there are and is a benefit to sacrificing ourselves, talents, gifts, and time to GOD.
