Episode 165: A Journey to "The Eves" with guest Grace Sammon

In this episode, we visit "The Eves",  with author Grace Sammon. Many of us struggle with the thought of aging; we don't want to grow old.  When we do, we become a lost, unimportant member of society. Should we really just be done with life or is there more?  Grace explores in her fourth book, and debut novel, "The Eves: When our stories are told everything changes".

The book follows the main character, Jessica Barnet, as she navigates a new chapter in life. She takes us through a journey of difficult conversations about family, age, race, sexuality, honesty, and death and life.  Grace is joining us on this episode to talk about aging and when it’s time for us to stop living.  In this episode we explore:

  •  Why it's important to tell our stories.
  •   Dating and love as we age.
  •   Is it ever okay to tell lies?
  •   Why you can't sit in two chairs and,
  •   When are we really done with life.

Tune in as we visit "The Eves" and find out what aging means to you. After you listen to the episode, stop and ask yourself, "What do I want to be as I age and grow old"?
