"NUVO-BURLESQUE" is a heel's based dance style created by Carla Catherwood, CEO and artistic director of HIGH HEELS HIGH HOPES, Inc.

She has produced events like "FOR THE LUV OF IT!", a west coast based live entertainment showcases that helped raise over $40,000.00 in cash and prize scholarships for youth and professional entertainers.

She is a professional dancer choreographer, producer, teacher and mentor.

Carla teaches jazz, jazz technique, street jazz, heels, technique in heels, stage, lyrical, and audition preparation classes.

Credits include number one hit music video from Mariana's Trench "Shake Tramp", Much Music's commercial starring Disney Star "Bridget Mendler", Jessie Farrell's chart topping "Lets talk about love", Cory Lee "Goodbye" and "Naughty", and Thornley's "Come again".

Her TV/Film credits include Instant Star "The Flame" and the TV pilot "And then there was simkin". Also assisting Nito Larioza in the feature films Catwoman, X-Men 3 and Sucker Punch.?
