LatinoTalk Texas is news, issues and interviews important to Latinos in America. On today's show I read headlines and articles from Catholic Pulse, the news service of the Knights of Columbus. In my news I point out again the two main forces driving most activities among people: The Culture of Life and the Culture of Death or the Anti-Life Culture. I point out how the culture of death and its allies in the political movements of socialism and communism seek to undermine the very sources of the culture of life, religion and religious expression. I read an article that points out the NBC TV, in promoting a new program, announced the Pledge of Allegiance but omitted, "...under God..." from it. This activity has been seen before but NBC has not, evidently learned its lesson. In more news, I read an article describing the Pope Francis meeting actress Angelina Jolie and Cardinal Burke. I also read a news release from the archdiocese of Miami concerning the federal courts forcing that state to conduct homosexual "marriages." Also, Archbishop Alberto Suarez Inda of Morelia will be appointed Cardinal. In national news, John Boehner, Speaker of the House seems to have acted to punish those who did not support his speakership. However, I continue my warnings to Boehner not to continue his efforts to placate the Tea party radicals who are anti-Latino and will always have a knife aimed at his back. He should, I admonish fervently, do what is right, pass immigration reform, and stop worrying about these radicals who will never support him. Finally I read other headlines. Have a great weekend!
