For a while I've been battling with the pain of a friend who got angry with me for "wanting too much" from them, and left my life without words. I felt their anger was misdirected, and definitely a reflection of all the turmoil they had going on in their life. It took me a while to understand it was not my fault. Since I was small, I always felt to-blame for everything that people did to me. This ...person was one of the few people I told about my sexual abuse, someone I truly felt was a best friend, so when they left I felt - betrayed. But that's why I released Little Hearts. So that the world could have that story and heal from it, and so no one would have to feel forced to stick around because they held one of my innermost secrets. I say this all to say, today, I finally let that friend go. From my thoughts, from my heart. I can say I tried my best. Don't be in the business of keeping people who don't wish to be kept. Wish them the best, let go, let goddess. And love, love, love those who've been around, whether for days or for months or for years! Those who accept you at your worst, lift you up because they believe in your vision, and give you their best. I go into 2014 with some of the best people on earth, and I truly thank you for sticking around
