Dr. Temple Grandin is the most accomplished and well-known adult with autism. Famed for her work with livestock handling equipment, Dr. Grandin is also a profound writer and speaker. She's been featured on NPR (National Public Radio), The Today Show, Larry King Live, 20/20, and many others, as well as been featured in several magazines, including Time and Peoplemagazine and the BBC special "The Woman Who Thinks Like a Cow" & Anthropologist from Mars by Oliver Sacks.

Through her talks and books, Dr. Grandin has been able to break down some of the walls around autism. After her initial explosion into the public consciousness in the mid 1980's with Thinking In Pictures, she turned the world of autism inside out, and continues to help people understand what it's like and how caretakers can help and understand their autistic children. Her mantra is that people with autism are "different, not less" and often, "different and, in many ways, more."

Listen as Dr Jo Anne White, international bestselling author and host of Power Your Life, and Dr. Temple Grandin discuss autism, being different, and how to change the future.
