My guest this Wednesday is Giovanna Drpic, an award-winning bilingual journalist and host and producer of "Money & Main$treet", on Verizon FiOS1 News Long Island. Her show was not only nominated for a New York Emmy this year for "Best Business/Consumer Program or Series", but it has also won awards from the Press Club of Long Island.

Giovanna also just received a Special Mention for "Best Feature" from the New York Associated Press.  This special recognition was for a story about a 9/11 victim's love letter. Previously, she worked as a reporter/fill-in anchor at My 9 News/Fox 5 where she broke many stories, including revealing the contents of the search warrant in the David Letterman extortion plot. She was part of the My 9 team that won an Emmy award for coverage of the "Miracle on the Hudson".
