What is the purpose of war and phones?

Why would we go to war in modern times, when assets can be created and obsoleted within a day?  We speak about how smart the children are because they know so much, but, we then put them in harms way with a draft that is mandatory upon the boys with those brilliant minds.  Is there really anything so important to the survival of the species that it requires war?

As a lady, I don't see why, since, I chose not to abort my two sons, that anyone else shoud have the power to take their life for someone's cause (as in a draft, if need be...).  What is the cause and effect of war?  It is no different that the fight you had with your lover, is it?  

Conscious humans make things happen -- they create as it is our nature to go to higher levels of understanding (we did this as children until force entered as the word "No!").  We bring values to life through our value --- the ability to think and act to become and make more.  Wow!  

So, really, what is the purpose of war?Why protect assets that are owned by a few people, when, others do without?  In this 21st century, why provide for people who can use this potential to create with their mind and never even do physical labor?.  We left  the dark ages!.  We are amazing!  Let's recognize we possess the ability to create, to think beyond the last thought, to evolve away from protecting antiquated assets?

You phone evolved from being stationary on the wall to walking around with you shooting pictures! Why do we allow our young adults to report into something that would force them to take a life or have force taken upon them?  Can technology end war?
