Welcome to Music 4 Life® Radio where we practice healing Mind, Body and Spirit by transforming B.S. (Belief Systems)™ to support healthy lifestyles! September's theme of ReSet, ReAlign, BeginAgain is explored with host Judith Pinkerton, licensed music therapist, mother, wife, daughter and founder of Music 4 Life. Today's topic honors Labor Day this week, addressing music to use for childbirth with her special guest music therapist Lillieth Grand, M.S., MT-BC from Milestone Music Therapy.
At Music 4 Life®, music is the core of all that we do, connecting you to the Life of your Spirit through the Life of your Senses with a favorite composer Ludwig Van Beethoven's quote: "Music is the Mediator betweeen the Life of the Senses and the Life of the Spirit." So what does that mean, and how do we transform belief systems? We plug you into yourself differently with music at the core, discovering that when you push play on music you find out how the music is really playing you. We support you being responsible for the choices you make to create a healthy lifestyle, connecting you to the Life of your Spirit through the Life of your Senses.
Today's music choices are explored to understand how we use music to stay positively engaged in the game connecting with others. Find our music recommendations and Judith's commentary at Music4LifeBLOG. Learn how your personal music listening habits may affect your desire to connect with others in Judith's TEDxTalk "Music Powers Potential."

“From failure we learn. From failures, successes are born.” We don't speak of failure very often at work or on social media but it is from failure that learning and innovation arise. We’ve all made a bad choice or decision in our careers that didn’t turn out as we had planned, but we have all learned and grown from that experience. Daily on DriveThruHR, we explore the themes of failure, learning and success. Join us and our guests as we share these stories of failure that turns into learning and professional growth every day at 12:00 pm Central Time. The radio program is hosted by @williamtincup, @Thehrbuddy @TheOneCrystal & @MikeVanDervort.. The #1 HR show, with amazing HR conversations and follow us on the twitters at @drivethruhr and #dthr

LABOR DAY...SUMMER'S LAST HURRAH!
LABOR DAY, how it came about; what it means.
LABOR DAY, the first Monday in September is the creation of the labor movement and is dedicated to the social and economic achievements of American Workers. It constitutes a yearly tribute to the contributions workers have made to the strength, prosperity and well-being of our Country.
FOUNDER OF LABOR DAY: More than 100 years after the first LABOR DAY celebrated on Tuesday, Sept 5, 1882 in New York City, there is still some doubt as to who first proposed the holiday for workers.
