Real Talk with Eddie Hinkle and Jacob Green: Omar Mateen

Since the Sunday shooting on June 12, 2016, more is being revealed about the suspect, Omar Mateen. Some say he is a homosexual while others say that he is a Muslim. Apparently, there is more to this guy than what the mainstream media and the United States government are telling people.

Omar Mateen was an American mass murderer and a domestic Islamic terrorist of Afghan descent. He killed forty-nine people and wounded fifty-three others in a mass shooting at the Pulse gay bar in Orlando, Florida. He was killed in a shootout with the local police in St. Lucie County. Prior to the shooting, he had been investigated by the FBI in 2013 and 2014. Mateen reportedly pledged his allegiance to the Sunni militant jihadist group, Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL), before the shooting (Williams et. al.).
