Briefings from Meetings with Dr. Beers, DCPS Spec.Ed Chief

Today on the Mary & Melissa Show – airing live at noon EST on BlogTalk Radio – is a continued conversation on the removal of special education coordinators (SEC’s) from DC public schools and transferring their responsibilities to school psychologists.  Last week, Dr Nathaniel Beers, Chief of the Office of Special Education for DCPS, met with school psychologists and SEC’s to discuss this proposed change.  Dr. Denise Daniels, DC representative to the National Association of School Psychologists will brief us on the meeting.    Ms. Aona H.
