Shavonne Jackson on HLT's Sunday HOT Delight

Shavonne Jackson was born and raised in Michigan but grew up becoming a woman in what is known as “Hotlanta, Georgia.” She began writing as an outlet in her late teen years sharing her poems with a few close friends. By sharing her writings with friends, the inspiration of her lyrics began a growth and an awareness of hope manifesting in her own life.
Ultimately she realized her writings had became her healing, the root to shar...ing outside her circle to bring new found hope, joy, encouragement and Inspiration to the world. As she speaks, her words ring out as a ministry to various listeners. She has voiced her ever learning words at venues such as Java Monkey Speaks, Gathering Grounds Coffee House, Krust Pizza Café, Sip Coffee Lounge, The Hotspot Coffee Shop, Library Coffee Co, Vino Libro, Apache Café and Mind & Muscle Lifestyle Boutique, Hotwordz Lyrical Theatre and other Internet Radio Open Mic Shows. She has also been the Featured Speaker/Poet for a Non-Profit Organization’s Workshop benefiting Underprivileged Teen Girls for Prom and a feature Poet for a local short film.
