Happy Talk Tribute - Ernestine Shepherd, Women History Month, 2024

March is the month where the seasons transitions from winter to spring.  Also, March is the month declared as Women's History Month.

Happy Talk would like to pay tribute to an amazing woman who inspired me that "age is only just a number."  I remember when we first met at the Georgia Fitness Festival in Macon, Georgia.

Her energy was so compatible to mine and the warmth of the sun.  I felt like we were two peas in a pod.  She is a person of faith, cares about health and fitness; and she has a beautiful soul.

And today, we celebrate her achievements in being the "Oldest Female Guinness World Record Bodybuilder."

But first, Happy Talk expresses condolences in the passing of her beloved only child, Michael Jerome Shepherd.

Michael went home to be with the Lord on Sunday morning, February 18. She said he was a wonderful son and father who will be greatly missed.
