The Negotiators

As the children grow up, it becomes necessary to let them be involved in some of the decision making regarding their future.  However, where do you draw the line between their input and when its your say? Oftentimes, these scenarios can become a standoff between parent and the child's effort to be independent. Our family will talk about the challenges we faced as we both compromised to ensure a nuturing passage into adulthood.
