This week, Avital Binshtock, lifestyle editor at Sierra magazine, reveals the Sierra Club's annual list of greenest colleges and universities for 2011, and talks to Dave about the importance of green choices to the college generation. Next, Dave interviews May Boeve, executive director of 350.org, about the current two-week sit-in protest at the White House supported by many of the
nations top environmental organizations. With over 300 peaceful protesters arrested to date, the activists are hoping to convince President Obama to veto the proposed tar sands pipeline from Canada to the U.S. Gulf Coast. Finally, Dr. Jonny Bowden stops by to explain the extraordinary health benefits of coconut oil, and to clear up some common misconceptions about coconut oil as well.
