Freemasonry: Never Turning Back

We laugh. We cry. We make mistakes. We feel terrible. We feel joy beyond words. We are audacious. We have no choice.  We have taken up the stewardship  and we need to find the collective courage to admit we can do better.  Some of the choir can't hit their notes.  Powerful voices are overpowering softer voices.  Some passages however short are uncomfortably discordant.  And our succession plan isn't working because we have stopped schooling those voices and teaching them to find their bliss.  

We love the voices who were stars in the day of our ancestors. We revere them. But we aren't inspiring genius and we aren't mentoring. We have exiled the those who can teach from those who are fascinated, motivated fans, those who are good technicians, those who have talent and those who are prima.  And why have we attempted to dumb it down?  Out of disrespect, we have made the assumption the diaspora is generated because the work is too difficult.  What mason said it?  Who is he that claimed we are cannot be motivated to do the work needed to become better?  Who injected divisiveness into the sub-text?- don't pick up the instrument unless your are a virtuoso; unless you can teach yourself?
