James T. Stevens, aka Doctor Prepper, creator and host of Critical Preparedness Resources Talk Radio, has stepped away from radio to work on retirement, aquaculture, and consulting back in the big league, so his cohost and cohort Rich Fleetwood, founder and executive director of SurvivalRing, org, has stepped in to keep the Friday Drive Time Preparedness show moving forward. With James leaving, we have changed the show to SurvivalRing Radio, because, well, SurvivalRing has been one of the leading prepper and survival websites for almost 20 years, offering thousands of free downloads, each of which can be a show in and of itself. Look for yourself at SurvivalRing.org/downloads to see the vast set of files shared in the last two decades.

Rich is a family man, married 35 years, with 3 kids, and 5 grandkids. He works for the state of Wyoming in LEO/Corrections, and has past experience as a federal employee, researcher for commercial real estate appraisal, truck driver, VAX mainframe computer operations manager, defense electronics production control and manufactoring (including FLIR, LASER, missile controls, and other programs), custom vehicle crafter, woodworker, computer geek, and code hacker of 34 years, running a BBS in the 80s on a 48k machine.

Currently living in Wyoming, Rich has experience in several volunteer areas, including the Civil Air Patrol, C.E.R.T., Emergency Management, First aid and CPR skills, and has written on these subjects for years on the SurvivalRing blog. He has 13 years of radio experience including degrees in broadcasting and web development, and has been part of Wyoming Public TV, college radio, FM classic rock, and lots of live broadcasts all over the state with WPTV.

Look forward to lots of stories, interviews with many friends across the country met via SurvivalRing, practical how to on all areas of preparedness, problem solving, troubleshooting, & direction towards common goals.
