Minister Eddie Howard Author of the Book Still Convicted

Minister Eddie Howard is a “soldier on the battlefield for Christ,” a poet, motivational speaker and life coach. As a teen and young adult Eddie hung out in the streets and was constantly in and out of jails and institutions for almost 20 years. He gave his life to Christ and worked diligently thereafter to help others. He attended Piedmont Virginia College, Bedford School of Evangelism, Center for Christian Studies at the University of Virginia, Charmer Center for Economic Development and Eastern Mennonite University Peace Building Institute. Eddie has been a licensed and ordained minister since 2006. He is also a Certified Missionary Worker and Certified Facilitator of Restorative Practices. He served as the Men’s Program Coordinator of Abundant Life Ministries (Charlottesville, VA); Co-founder of 5-8 Boys Club, Buford Academic Mentoring (BAM) and worked with the families of the young men he mentored. As an avid community activist, he instituted a “Hope Walk” initiative to build rapport between the local police department and at-risk communities in Charlottesville, VA. He worked extensively with the Fathers in Training Program in Virginia Beach, Va.
