Do we become so complacent in our relationships that we begin to take our mates for granted? I have heard many women say that “I am fat dammit, so you’re either going to love me or leave me but I am not changing” Are they wrong for having those thoughts? What do their men have to say about it, knowing that their opinions won’t matter? I have also heard men say they don't have to buy flowers or suprise their significant other anymore. What is causing this reaction? We all know that no one can change a person, they have to change themselves but when it appears that the relationship will either dissolve or become miserable because of the lack of compromise, will the change then occur? What does it take to maintain longevity in a relationship and can a relationship ever be healthy when one person is set in their ways and refuses to compromise? Please join me as I interview Motivational Speaker and Relationship Coach (for the Tavis Smiley Foundation Leadership Institute) Ryeal Simms.
