Marcus Devine is a producer, singer, songwriter, musician, engineer and the list goes on!! He has produced, toured & wrote for some of the top artist in the game, such as Charlie Wilson, Silk, Destiny's Child, Dave Hollister, Deitrick Haddon, Xscape, Latocha Scott, Mario, Monica, Kelly Price, Aaliyah, Shirley Murdock, Day26, Men of Standard to name a few. Marcus embarked on his solo journey in November of 2011. He was determined to bring life to what people say is a dying genre.... R&B! He approached this project as if he was writing a movie and that's how the title "The Matinee" was born. His motto is "I don't write songs... I write 3 1/2 minute movies"! Marcus Devine's goal is to give you music that makes a difference in your life & evoke certain emotions in you!
