Special Guest: Lucy Semmens, Director of Human Resources at Royal Horticultural Society

Lucy loves enabling organisations to turn their visions into reality through developing and utilising the strengths and skills of their people. A traditional Yorkshire girl, she has worked in a range of industries from professional services, local government through to the very passionate and world changing sector of the not for profits. At the heart of her work is creating cultures where people are trusted but most importantly enabled, expected and engaged to deliver the very best work. This means bringing IT and people together so the what of work is clearly supported by the how.

We will be talking about what it means to really trust employees at the outset, giving them the tools and technology to deliver their work and the impact this has on engagement and diversity.

Host: Jo Moffatt
