Talking moving forward with Monique Nique( there is hope)

Chicago Native Shares her inspiring story of hope with victims of abuse. The power of forgiveness is a concept Chicago native Ms Niques feels that everyone needs to know about. There are so many angry people out there who could live such enjoyable and fulfilling lives if they would just let go of the anger and pain, she said. Ms. Nique should know . Despite having been a victim of physical and sexual abuse at the hands of people who should have been taking care of her when she was a child. Ms. Nique says. By the grace of God I have learned to move forwarad.  Part of the healing process was writing her memoir. If My Past Wasn't so Dark..The future Would'nt Shine So Bright . Since the book has come out Ms. Nique has been traveling around the country sharing her story of hope and inspiration with fellow abuse victims. She recently shared her story with abuse victims in a shelter in Chicago.
