Operation Fairy Godmother! Making Kids Dreams Come True

Long before the current economic meltdown many young women and their families lacked the finances for that high school right of passage, The Prom. Enter, "Operation Fairy Godmother" a program supported by the Vancouver School District Foundation which puts makes the prom affordable to many girls. Jim Sork the executive director will explain how they got 2,700 dresses donated last year alone. Also joining us will beLeonard Lamkin, MPA, a non profit executive experienced in building and leading multi-faceted, complex organizations at the community, state and national level. The focus of his twenty five years of experience is in developing and implementing education, health promotion and substance abuse prevention/intervention programs for adolescents and their families.
