When the Bell Rings - A Show for Teachers K-12

Hi my name is Susie Butler-Smith. I am the proud and sometimes tired mother of three active teenage boys. All of my children are currently enrolled in the Anchorage School District. They are 16,14, and 13. I have been teaching for almost 13 years. I have taught in Louisiana, Texas, and  Oklahoma. I am currently teaching in the great state of Alaska.

When the Bell (Beginning Ending Learning Loving) Rings is not just a talk show for educators.  It was created so that conversations could take place between all those effected by the world of education.  The initial show is simply to allow all who are willing, share how their lives relate to the structured school day. Future shows will have specific topics for conversation, but will always center around the education world.

I believe that in order for one  to be successful we must B.E.H.A.V.E. That means Becoming Excellent by Having our Actions Vary according to our Expectations.  I try to apply this to my daily life as well, which is what put me on the path to begin this talk show blog. .
