Dr. Jeanette welcomes Jack Woodville London, historian and author of the French Letters trilogy: French Letters: Virginia's War, French Letters: Engaged in War, French Letters: Children of a Good War. The novel's are centered through the eyes of each person he writes about; the first book is the father, the second is the mother and the third is the children.  Can you see the world through the eyes of your parents and how their lives have reflected the history they lived through?

"Are we trapped by our current experiences into judging the past on our terms rather than its terms" Jack Woodville London

Everyone you thought you were is not necessarily who you are, you have to find out for yourself.  Can we see it from different points of view: mother, father and children, Jack asks?

Two novels sharing the story of the mother and father in the 1940's with all the history and challenges of living in that time. The third novel is the adult children in reflection of their parents and trying to piece the stories together to 'walk in their shoes'.

Engaging works of art, history, love, darkness, pain and suffering from the past that draw you into the moment as if you were standing on the same street corner as they. The novels are golden threads that weave your heart and soul into the love of the story.
